To reset your password, please click on Forgot Password in the Log In section on the top right-hand corner of Takerentspage. This will lead you to a new page where you can follow the prompts to reset your password. Enter username/e-mail address and click Get a new Password

Takerents will never share your personal information without your permission. You also have the following options to control your privacy levels: 1. Choose an open profile that all recruiters can view. 2. Choose to block certain recruiters from viewing your profile. 3. Choose to allow recruiters to ask for permission to view your profile. All privacy settings can be changed in your account settings on your Takerentsprofile.

You can choose the level of privacy you would like to have on your profile. You can either have your profile visible to registered recruiters on the site or if you choose you can have your personal details invisible. If you choose to have your details invisible, recruiters will have to ask your permission in order for them to view your profile. An email will be sent to you informing you that a recruiter is interested in viewing your profile. This is a good option if you are worried about your company viewing your profile.

This information is required in line with the Employment Equity Act. If positions are EE positions then only candidates matching the hiring company’s criteria will be matched against the position. According to the Labour Department the hierarchy for Employment Equity is Black, Coloured and then Indian – Females then Males

Takerents is an advertising board and online job portal. We provide job seekers with thousands of vacancies that are posted by hundreds of registered recruiters and employers. As Takerents does not fulfill the same function as that of a recruitment agency, there is no intervention from our side between Recruiters and Jobseekers. We also provide comprehensive career advice, providing you with the tools you need to make the most of your career and your job search. We will assist you with any technical queries you may have regarding the navigation of the Takerents site, and technical issues you may be experiencing with your registered Takerents profile.

To find a particular type of vacancy, type in your desired job title (for example ‘Operations Manager’) in the Search Bar and click find job button on the right-hand side of the screen. A list of all the available jobs with your chosen job title will appear. Browse this list to find the jobs which best suit your skills. You will have to be logged in to your profile to apply to jobs. Once you’ve found a job you want to apply to, click the Apply button and you will be given an option to send through an application. Please note that many vacancies require you to write a cover letter and attach a CV document before you can apply. Once you are satisfied with the information about yourself and would like to proceed with the application, click Send Application button. You can then view all the jobs you have applied for in your account.

Log in to your account and type in your desired job role (for eg ‘Operations Manager’) in the search block and click the ‘Find job’ button on the right side of the screen. A list of all the positions available will appear. Browse these to find the jobs which best suit your skills. Another option is to sign up to our Job Alerts. You will then have relevant jobs sent to you, as they as posted on the site. 

As soon as you register with Takerents, we will send an email to the email address you used to register. In this email, you will be asked to click the Verify Email link in the mail. This will confirm and verify your Takerentsaccount and allow you access to use Takerents.
Log in to your account, scroll to the end of your profile page and click the ‘Choose File’ button. Select your CV from where it has been saved in a folder on your computer or on a memory stick. Please ensure your CV is in Word format and no more than 2MB in size. Next, click ‘Upload’ button to upload the CV to your registered profile. If you need to upload more than one version of your CV, make sure the file names are different. If the file names are the same, you will be unable to apply for jobs as the system will not know which version of your CV to send.
To be sure that your application was successfully submitted, check the jobs you have applied for via Takerents site on your profile under ‘Jobs applied to’. If the application is listed there, but you have not heard from the employer, you will need to make direct contact with the Company or Recruiter to whom you submitted your application. View our company directory to obtain contact details from recruiters and companies currently advertising on the Takerents site.
As a jobs board we are not able to proofread or provide advice on your specific CV, however we do have a large collection of comprehensive advice which job seekers find very useful when looking for work and going through the CV application and interview process.
Please check that your Takerents profile and your CV conform to the following guidelines: • Ensure that your profile is at least 80% filled in. You will not be able to apply for job roles via the Takerents site with an incomplete profile. Click the edit options next to each section to add information to your profile. • Do not upload more than one CV to your profile with the same file name. Applications are not submitted when it appears there are duplicate CVs on your profile. Remove the duplicated CV’s and add them again with new names. Note: We generate a short CV for recruiters: please leave this on your profile.
Takerents advertises a limited amount of job vacancies outside Zambia and Africa. To find an international job, simply click the Select Province in the Search Bar at the top of the Takerents page and a drop-down list will appear. Click on International to find a list of jobs in the country of your choice.
If you would like to edit your profile you can click Edit option next to the selected section in your profile: the section will open and you will be able to edit the selected information accordingly. Once you are satisfied with your changes, click the green Save button.
